3.1. Simple units converter

Simple units converter can convert 479 different units of measurement across 23 categories.

How to use Simple units converter?

• Choose an unit category.
• Select the unit to convert from in the input units list.
• Select the unit you want to convert it to in the output units list.
• Enter the value you wish to convert into the input box on the left.

In the top combo box you can select all units of a certain category. The bottom combo box will display only the units that have the same dimension as the unit selected in the top combo box.

Enter a number by pressing the appropriate digit keys and, if necessary, the decimal point key (dot or comma). Both dot and comma are valid because the Unit & Number Converter will automaticly change commas to dots. Conversions are done in real time as you type in your values.

Writing numbers in scientific notation: Enter the mantissa as the positive or negative number, type E or e, and then type the exponent as the positive or negative number (-3.21e-6).

The precision of returned values is accurate up to 6 significant digits.
